Maitland Police Department

Public Information and Community Bulletins

Hurricane Season 2019 officially starts on June 1st.  The time to prepare for a hurricane is not during the hurricane. Do not wait to get your preparations in order! Stock up on necessary supplies as soon as you can, and double-check any supplies that you may have left over from last year.

If you wait until a storm is on its way, you will run the risk of encountering a grocery or supply store with nothing but empty shelves. Stay prepared and get your hurricane supplies & plans sorted out as soon as possible.
