Crimeline is an anonymous tip line serving Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, Brevard and Lake Counties. It's purpose is to motivate citizens to provide information on felony crimes by offering financial rewards and guaranteeing anonymity. Using Crimeline is simple, easy and safe. When you call in you will not be asked your name or any personal information. You will be assigned a number. Crimeline is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Crimeline takes anonymous tips on felony crimes. If your tip leads to a felony arrest or the recovery of narcotics, weapons or property you may also be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

Too often, persons with vital information about crimes fail to contact a law enforcement agency because they do not wish to testify in court, The result of this reluctance is that many dangerous criminals who should be behind bars are still walking the streets. Crimeline means that you can phone in anything you know or hear and nobody will ever know that information came from you!

Crimeline is a proven, effective community service program combining the efforts of local law enforcement, the media and the public in solving crime. It counters the Fear and Apathy that make the public reluctant to help fight crime.

Call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477)
