Construction will close the left northbound lane of Maitland Avenue between Sandspur Road and the intersection with Marion Way beginning Wednesday, Sept. 17. The northbound, left turn-lane into the Shalom Orlando campus also will close.
The partial closure of Maitland Avenue will switch to the right northbound lane between Sandspur Road and the intersection with Marion Way beginning Thursday, Sept. 18. Office building driveways will remain open to 700 and 800 N. Maitland Avenue. The turn-lane into Shalom Orlando will remain closed.
Motorists must access Shalom Orlando - turning right into the property - using southbound Maitland Avenue from Maitland Boulevard. Motorist leaving Shalom Orlando must turn right onto southbound Maitland Avenue and drive toward Sandspur Road.
Left turns will not be permitted to exit Shalom Orlando onto northbound Maitland Avenue. Marion Way and pedestrians sidewalks also are closed east of the intersection with Maitland Avenue.
Drivers should use extra caution and follow the temporary traffic signs in this area. Take extra time for your trip to Shalom Orlando to account for traffic delays.
