Vegetation Removal Permit Submittal Checklist

  Complete Application: On-line application has been thoroughly completed.    
  Fee: Application fee has been paid.    
  Vegetative Map and Site Plan: Plan with adequate details showing the location of trees and vegetation to be removed which includes the specie or common names and sizes of all trees/vegetation to be removed.  If applicable, provide identification of company or individuals who will undertake the tree or vegetation removal.    
  Landscape Plan: A landscape plan is only required if the permit includes property in excess of an acre in size and the property is zoned for other than single-family residential or duplex use unless deemed required by the Building Official.  An applicant may choose to submit a landscape plan to clarify the request for the vegetation removal. A landscape plan is required for any new construction or structural expansion or the subdivision of land.  Any landscape plan submitted must be drawn at a noted scale of at least 1"=30' and shall include items a through g of the Procedures Manual).  The landscape plan must be prepared by and signed and sealed by a landscape architect registered in the State of Florida, unless exempted as outlined in the Procedures Manual.     
  Please note, a stake-out inspection is required prior to any vegetation removal and clearing.  All building and paving areas are staked and trees/vegetation to remain must be tagged and barricaded.  For inspection, please call (407) 539-6258.
